Admittedly we are a long way from seeing raw milk on the shelves of grocery chains and box stores. Thankfully that isn’t stopping Mark McAfee from navigating to his true North. Give this passionate guy a listen and I guarantee if, God forbid, you or a loved one runs into a diagnosis that the MD’s don’t have figured out you’ll think of Organic Pastures Dairy. We are fortunate that he and his kind are here with the wisdom, COURAGE and ability to shepherd us into a new paradigm. Oh yeah, and his chocolate colostrum rocks. This is a cutting from my time with him that stands up just fine on it’s own.

@eldeliveroso I so hate dumbfucks like you with your boners for Jesus.
Our government wants us to be sick, then we can go to their doctors and be prescribed their dangerous drugs. They win twice, maximum dollar value extracted from each of us. When will Lord Jesus return?
I love Raw Milk! For 2 years, I had to avoid everything with milk in it, even if it was made on equipment that handles milk. Then I discovered raw milk and having been drinking it ever since! I love it soo much =D
I went to your lecture last year and I’m glad that I did! Now, I feel so much better when I drink raw milk. My pain control problems have gone away and I’m rarely ever sick! I had chronic dry flaking and cracking skin since I was a child. And now I don’t have to apply lotions or oils to my skin after a shower, because I don’t need it anymore! Thank you Raw Milk Guy!
@MintBeccaChocolate and that is so sad. =( They were ment to be free, hopefully THAT will be outlawed it’s inhumane!
isn’t raw milk legal in California? Why would a guy need to take it to L.A.?
@Bidon45, I have read that milk only becomes contaminated when the cow is fed contaminated food or food that is not natural grass. Cows need grass to produce milk, with all of the friendly bacteria and all, that is SUPER healthy. Pasteurized milk guarantees milk production and profit for dairy farmers because the cow can be in any condition to produce milk, contaminated or not. They can feed their dairy cows wheat, or not let them graze freely and keep them locked up without sun until death.
@Cernunnas, I disagree. Do more research on cow’s milk, you’ll be amazed at what you find. If I’m wrong, I think that the cow calf only needs to feed from the mother in the first 24 hours of birth, at some point, they then, eat grass.
I have not been able to find any raw milk, anywhere, for the life of me. The closest thing I’ve found is non homogenized milk, which I don’t believe is the same.
Now an anti-Raw Milk crusader is trying to ban it on the federal level. Check out the video response below for details.
It’s funny humans are the only animal that drink milk when they’re grown ups, and not just that, but also we’re the only animal that feeds from the milk of another species. It’s even funnier how some people think it’d be gross to drink their mothers’ milk again or to drink other animals’ milk (mice for example).
Cow milk was made for cows and not humans. It’s bad for our health. When you drink cow milk, no matter what kind it is, you’re stealing food for babies.
If the raw milk can provide some help for someone with a disease or other ailment, and it is the only thing that can help them – then by all means drink it, absolutely. HOWEVER, for a normal, healthy person, with no immediate medical need for it, drinking raw milk is a mistake. It is dangerous, there are a number of serious bacterial diseases transmitted through raw milk. Is pasteurized milk as nutritionally impressive? No. It is safer though.
I am lucky to have Eastleigh Farm in my town where they sell raw milk. Raw milk is delicious, THE SWEETEST milk there ever is, and to me no other food is better. I hope the day comes when not only Mass. grocery stores have it but we can come to farms and have farmers squirt milk directly into our mouths by aiming the udders right. GO RAW MILK!
Thank you for your beautiful products, Organic Pastures!
LET’S GET YOU BACK IN WHOLE FOODS WHERE YOU BELONG!!!
BRAVO! Good job. If we only could learn to vote with our money ! We lost the fight in Canada to drink raw milk. But we buy it in Bellingham anyway.
) Anyone who reads, thinks and can reason, knows the FDA is not humanities friend.
I grown up on raw milk and I’m healthy, beautiful and still can think. What makes me sick is how this government is brainwashing people, it is hard to believe it.
God bless you for what you doing!!
By the way, I drink raw milk almost everyday, and I eat very little “uncooked” vegetables.
If you live on a dairy you probaby garden as well, and if you do, you know what kind of crap can get on your raw veggies. Now consider mass produced veggies hand picked by people forced to do their daily business out in the fields.
You are fighting the wrong fight as far as I’m concerned. This to me is more about freedom to choose.
I believe we take as much or greater chance with the consumption of raw veggies or improper handling and cooking of meat such as chicken and pork, and I advocate letting the consumer decide for himself what he wishes to consume,e.g. raw milk.
You are right, there is no safe way to distribute raw milk to 300 million people.
This doesn’t mean raw milk itself is unsafe. The problem isn’t with the raw milk , it is with our system of storing(usually starting with the bulk tanks on the dairy and on the trucks) and delivering to the masses, but this cannot be construed in such a way as to define raw milk as inherently unsafe.
So, why aren’t you out campaigning against raw vegetables? I guess you forgot to answer this simple question.
Now as to your magic switch comment, you have now trancended from anecdotal evidence to delivering true anecdotes!
And by the way, you rebut as though I’m an activist. Not so. I am from a dairy family. I drink milk from the grocery store, as does my family. They have an immaculately clean operation which hosts bus tours occasionally. But, bacteria doesn’t care about how trimmed we keep the lawn or how pretty we keep the cow’s tails.
The health benefits argument is moot. There is no safe way to mass distribute raw milk. You’re not nuts, you’re just a victim of perpetual misinformation. Quit contributing.
Your comparison is not fair. Incidence of milk illness is very low because of rules and regulations. If we flipped a magic switch and became a raw milk culture tomorrow, the incidence of illness would be staggering. People read up on this topic and are overwhelmed by misinformation from arm-chair lobbyists.
I pick rabies as one example out of many. You’re the ‘before shot’ poster person. Promise to continue lobbying if your child dies from e-coli?
More people die each year in the USA of food poisoning from eating raw vegetables. Why aren’t you out there campaigning against these products?
Again citing the CDC, Salmonella causes approximately 4,000 deaths per year and 76 million illnesses, mostly from Peanut butter, spinach, tomatoes and lettuce.
I agree with your last sentence, and I must say it may be vegetarians who get “balanced out” in the end.
how many people die of rabies each year in the USA? The CDC reports that ONLY 1 or 2 per year in the 1990′s!!!!!!! Look it up!!
Enough of the rabies scare tactics already!!
Here’s some non-anecdotal facts:
1. All mammals can carry and transmit rabies.
3. People who catch rabies from a non-obvious source will not seek early treatment.
4. Your chances of dying from rabies after you show symptoms is 99.9996%.
5. Dairy herds are generally well cared for, but rabies can move through a herd (especially a free-stall farm) very rapidly.
6. Milk is typically consumed in a few days after harvesting, so there would be no chance for a recall once people start to get sick.
