Are you tired of picking through the pile of shoes on your closet floor trying to find the matching pair to the ones you want to wear? Fed up with wearing the wrong pair of shoes because you can’t find the right ones? Organizing your collection of shoes offers many distinct advantages that go beyond making your closet and bedroom look better. Keeping your shoes organized can:

-         Save you time that you would spend looking for that missing shoe or trying to find the shoes you want to wear

-         Make more room in your closet for other things besides shoes that you want to store

-         Keep your shoes neat, clean and undamaged

Of course, there are many different styles and types of shoe organizers, and each of them come with their unique advantages. From shoe shelves to over-the-door shoe bags, you have at your disposal a wide selection of shoe organizers from which to choose. Take the time to really figure out what you want to accomplish by organizing your shoe storage before buying, and you are sure to be happy with the type of organizer that you choose.

Got lots of shoes to store?

Do you have a huge collection of shoes that just keeps getting bigger? If so you will want an organizer that gives you a lot of storage in a limited amount of space while still allowing you to see all of your shoes at a glance. There are several different organizer systems that come with shoe modules that can easily be expanded as your collection grows in the future.

If you have wall space, consider a corrugated shoe chest with 24 or 36 compartments and a vinyl front that keeps your shoes dust-free without hiding them. Don’t like cardboard? How about a steel and polymer rack that holds 20, 30 or 50 pairs of shoes inside of 10 inch deep shelves? The rack can fit neatly inside the back of your closet, or against a wall, and hold all of your shoes– even the ones that you keep in boxes.

Lots of shoes, little space?

One problem shoe lovers often run into is a lack of storage space. You should consider yourself lucky if you have got a nice, clear spot on your wall that is just begging for the work of art that is your shoe collection. Unfortunately, most of us do not have that same luxury inside of our bedrooms. If you need a shoe organizer that utilizes unused space, there are several options you can consider.

Under the bed storage organizers make use of the empty space underneath your bed. The underbed shoe storage styles range from underbed chests that hold up to a dozen pairs of shoes in a covered, sealed case to a shoe rack that features a roll-out shelf for easy access. You can even make use of probably the least used space in your bedroom, under your bedskirt! The bedskirt shoe rack is easily one of the greatest products on the market. The center fits over your bed and adds up to 9 shoe pockets on either side. Toss your standard bed skirt over top of it, and your shoes are kept neat, clean and hidden from plain sight without taking up excessive floor, wall or closet space.

Of course, if you’re using the space under your bed to store your Christmas ornaments, winter clothing, or other miscellaneous items, then you’ll have to find another place to store your extra pairs of shoes. How about on your closet or bedroom door? Over-the-door shoe organizers are a long-standing solution to finding space for all of your shoes. You can create extra space for shoe storage in your bedroom with an over the door rack made of coated wire, or a vinyl pocket shoe organizer that hangs over the back of your bedroom door. Either way, you’ll be able to fit up to 18 pairs of your shoes on the rack.

Super Stylish Shoe Organizers

On the other hand, if you are one of the lucky few that have plenty of room for furnishings in your bedroom, you can indulge in some very stylish storage options for your shoes. Shoe cabinets come in a variety of finishes and provide closed storage space for a dozen pairs of shoes or more. Many of the cabinets are modular, so you can stack them for still more room.

In-closet Shoe Organizers

Some shoe organizers are designed to hang from the pole in your closet, making good use of your room’s vertical space. The options include hanging shoe racks that hold 8-10 pairs of shoes on shelves and a very innovative spinning closet organizer that can hold up to 30 pairs of shoes, as well as provides shelves for folded sweaters and hooks for belts and ties.

Whatever your needs are, you’ll find that there is certainly a shoe organizer out there that is perfect for you and your style. Take the time to look over the different styles available and choose the one that suits you best.
