The Wild Green retail concept was created after owner Kathy Ecke realized how difficult it was to find meaningful, yet fun & functional products that are good for the earth. During her research Kathy quickly realized “earth friendly” encompassed many categories and wanted to make them available in a dedicated retail shop as well as a website. Kathy believed if you made these products available people would be more likely to shop for them and begin to realize the benefits to society as well as themselves and their family.

In June of 2008 Wild Green opened its retail operation at The Watch Factory Shoppes in Cheshire, Connecticut. It became one of the first eco-friendly boutiques in the area. It also was a testing ground for what is now featured here on our e-commerce site.
